  • Checkatrade - Workshop Wizardry Training

I worked closely with Checkatrade's Head of Product and Head of Content to design a tailored one-day Workshop Wizardry session, which included specific design thinking activities that could be integrated into their own workshops.

  • Lionweld Kennedy - Core Values Workshop

I worked closely with the team at Lionweld Kennedy, the UK’s leading supplier of Steel and GRP, to develop their company values. I did this through the design and delivery of a one-day co-creation workshop with team members representing different parts of the business. We worked together to understand what was unique, what made people proud, and what inspired the team, before drafting the values together, then seeing how they might put them into practice to achieve their vision, mission and strategy.

  • The Pituitary Foundation - Strategy Away Day

I worked closely with the CEO to design the strategic away day for the Trustees and Team, many of whom had never met in person. We created a full day’s worth of workshop activities, all with the goal of enabling the team to put the strategy into action and focus on the areas that would really make a difference. The day culminated in an exciting creative session on fundraising that generated some brilliant ideas to take forward. The Chair of Trustees said that as well as the day being fun and productive, my facilitation skills were the best they’d seen in 7 years.

  • Bristol Hospitality Network

I worked closely with Bristol Hospitality Network, a charity that supports destitute asylum seekers and refugees, to design and facilitate a team strategy away day and develop a Theory of Change paper. As part of the scope, I also facilitated a team workshop and designed a survey to get feedback from different groups, all of which fed into the day.

During the day, we agreed the future direction for the charity, key focus areas, activities and actions, which have evolved into a plan.

  • Kinneir Dufort/Steripack - The Art of Persuasion Training

I worked closely with the Head of People to design and facilitate a Presentation Skills workshop that was tailored to their business and team.

The team was highly engaged throughout the day, and as well as taking away many learnings as individually, they went away with loads of ideas to improve the quality of their presentations across the business.

“I have had the pleasure of being in several workshops designed and facilitated by Mette, and the best thing is they never really feel like workshops. They feel well-paced, well-researched, well-guided, and, well… a whole heap of fun. Her experience plus extensive preparation means the atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive.

I always walk away feeling that we unearth new learnings, achieve greater consensus, and have enjoyed myself.”
